„Musikantenstadl“ in the Forbidden City Beijing China, 1999

UNIART spent three years to prepare the "Musikantenstadl" – a popular TV show in

German speaking countries – to be taken place on the central square in the Forbidden

City first timely in the history.

More than one thousand European and Chinese artists gave their excellent

performances in the show and more than 8,000 audience, including 4,000 European,

attended the show alive on the square.

The event was broadcasted by four national TV stations (Austrian ORF, German

ARD, Swiss SF-DRS and Chinese CCTV) worldwide in Oct. 1999. More than 800

million TV viewers around the world watched the show.

The event was recognized as one of the most greatest shows in the 20th century in

China.
