About the event
On the 30th Aug. 2008, after 3 years' preparation, the new Chinese opera Mulan was
successfully performed by the famous Chinese artists Ms. PENG Liyuan, Mr. DAI
Yuqiang and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and choir in the Vienna State Opera
House.
The opera was recorded with 12 HD cameras and a set of stand of art TV facilities for
the Chinese State Television (CCTV) and EBU (European Broadcasting Union).
