The World Peace Choral Festival 2023

Coming together to sing for a better future!

This year the World Peace Choral Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary. In the last 10 years and with the support of many choirs and

partners, the festival has become one of the largest and most important choral festivals in the world. It is a unique summer event for all of us.

Every year the festival offers a platform for young choirs from different countries of the world to sing for world peace. Our aim is to build a

bridge between the countries with classical songs and folk songs in order to promote communication and intercultural understanding.

What we have achieved in recent years:

Since Aug. 2010, more than 500 choirs from all over the world have come to Vienna, e.g.: Armenia, Austria (including the Vienna Boys

Choir), Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China (Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan), Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany,

Georgia, India, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sri Lanka, USA, etc.

More than 300 concerts and events inspired the domestic and international audience;

More than 300 workshops by famous choral experts and choral instructors of the "Vienna Boys Choir " taught their expertise to various choirs

from all over the world;

More than 20.000€ of donations were collected for charitable purposes;

Vienna Boys Choir, Austrian Federal Government, Vienna City Government, UNICEF, United Nations in Vienna, Confucius Institute at the

University of Vienna and a number of institutions and personalities support the World Peace Choir Festival;

Dr. Alexander Van der Bellen (Austrian Federal President) and Dr. Michael Ludwig (Mayor of the City Vienna) supported the festival and sent

their greeting words;
